I may be moving to Phoenix in the next few months to start a job at Phoenix Children's Hospital. I am from Tucson, but don't really know much about Phoenix neighborhoods. Can someone recommend some good housing areas that aren't too far from the hospital? I'm not sure if I will buy a house or rent, as I haven't looked too much into either option. I'd also appreciate if you know what zip codes to look in because most online search engines I've come across ask you to search by zip code. Thanks!

Potentially desirable areas within a five-mile radius:

Midtown and nearby historic districts 85014, 85013
Biltmore 85016
Arcadia 85018

Here's a zip code map of the area. PCH is located at Thomas Road and the 51 Freeway:

For the most part, I'd recommend staying above Thomas for points east of 51. West of 51, you could find some selected nice areas south of Thomas if you wish to live in an historic district or a Downtown condo.
