Hi, I have several healthy, mature camellias in pots until this summer, when all of them perished. I know their cultural requirements, so you don't need to educate me on this.

Has anyone else been able to keep these plants healthy year to year? Pictures appreciated.

I have not even tried. I think it's way too hot here in the summer time. The same with gardenias. Those I tried and they died on me. Some plants don't do well here.

My gardenia took the summer with no problem. You must have done something wrong b/c they thrive in summer heat.

Gardenia's do okay if not in direct sunlight all day long. Camelia's area total loss.
