I agree, it could be a factor. In her case, it was not.

How did you know if the dog had stones or not? Were they howling in pain or something? Ive had several stones, I can only imagine their pain, if it was remotely like what I experienced. Its awful.

Ours do not drink tap water. That surgery bill to have them removed was a lot higher than buying them water.

The water is an issue here, and it's something to be cognizant of.

Other than that, carry on.
Point taken, something very simple to resolve should be a consideration here, and probably any city in the Southern U.S..

She was having a hard time going to the bathroom, and blood was coming out when she went. It was the worst thing ever to witness. She passed one (tiny) stone with me there. One of her stones was the size of a quarter. She never could have passed it.

Colorado is turning into an east California, can't wait to get out of this semi-hellhole.

Noted, never had the issue with any dog I've ever had but that's unfortunate to hear.

Phoenix has been East California for over a decade now. Throw in some Midwestern accents.

A cold California where, due to your elevation, your car has less power and so do your lungs

Happy for you that you're planning on leaving. I can't say goodbye to California fast enough.

Well...i'll take a warm, less liberal East California over a cold, more liberal East California.

It's become quite the liberal utopia! They should be loving it lol. Instead, they'd like to move and remake a new area. Watch out Arizona.

A resident of what is supposed to be a Conservative enclave in CA, I found my interactions in PHX last weekend markedly more Conservative than what I'm accustomed to locally. FWIW/YMMV
