I think western wear is cool and wouldn't look at you because I think it's weird, but because I like the look. Maybe the weird looks are just people who like the style?

I keep asking my wife to get me a Stetson for Christmas or my birthday but no luck so far. Might just have to buy one myself.

But....working in an office I probably wouldn't wear western wear to work. Shirts and jeans maybe, but I'm too comfortable in sneakers every day to wear boots, and of course I don't wear a hat inside.

If it weren't for my wife I'd dress like a slob about every day.

I think if you continue to do what feels right, you won't regret it!

Yeah I'm more comfortable in cowboy boots and wranglers. Plus my work doesn't care unless I have to go to court. Then I have to wear a suit.

I'm 6'2" and a 185 pounds. I work out regularly, so it's not like I don't have a bad figure for the clothes I wear. But I never got funny looks or anything in Willcox based on how I dress. But ever since I moved to Mesa for work I get weird looks sometimes if I dress that way in the Valley. I usually won't wear a Stetson cowboy hat unless I'm going out to a bar or a nightclub. I'll usually just wear a regular ball cap. Only time people don't seem to notice is if I'm in Boot Barn or some other Western Wear store or a rodeo. I don't know if it's the fact I get out my truck and people see me dressed like that or what. I've been a cowboy all my life. It's who I am and I can't help how I grew up. But I don't know if it's because there is so much diversity in the Phoenix area or maybe I'm just paranoid. Just don't know why everyone looks at me the way they do. I mean Arizona is a western state. You'd think people here would be used to seeing a cowboy wouldn't they?

Sorry, just bored at work and figured I'd post something to pass the time.
I like the cowboy look. If other folks didn't dress like you, there wouldn't be a Boot Barn.

My guess too.

Nothing snazzier than a well dressed cowboy. Sadly AZ is becoming less cowboy country as we become more infested with Californians.

Don't worry, you will find a nice girl who thinks you look cute in your cowboy hat and boots.
