Dude, it would be a tough adjustment to live in an RV... That is quite reasonable pricing though. The $1,000 apartments nowadays are studios in ghetto complexes. El Cajon doesn't nearly deserve the bad rep it has earned but some of those smaller complexes around between Ballantyne and 2nd St. can be really rough places! I officially never want to see a roach again
. A really decent 1 bedroom in El Cajon starts at about $1,300 right now. The RV route would actually be awesome if one could do it.

ElCajones I could easily enjoy East County as well. Besides some wind , Campo to Jacumba not bad at all for rural high desert living.

My memory of Globe was work related in the sun last summer. I got such a bad sunburn up there that I got a fever later on. Gotta forgive me for not noticing the temp was 115 in the valley and 104 there that day

A commute from Jacumba would be evil.... You should look at Ramona. Still a total gem in SD. If I ever get the chance to move back, that's where I'm going.

Ironically the high desert being closer to the sun can do that despite cooler temps. Love DeMarcos in Globe. Best Italian joint in the state and a second location now in Superior.

That's what I've been screaming. Mission Valley is a central and ideal location. Downtown SD is a nightmare as it is.
