Thanks for the info. Besides Vistancia and Anthem, we are also looking into Arrowhead Rach, it seems pretty convenient in a lot of aspects!

My husband works at that facility and we live in the Moon Valley community in North Phoenix. It takes him 15 minutes or less even with traffic to get there in the morning (between 7 and 8 a.m.)

It is an older, well established and safe area, atleast where we live, which is at 7th Ave. and Coral Gables. It is between Thunderbird and Greenway Rd.

You can get plenty of great rental bargains right now in this area as well as most of the areas that everyone has already suggested.

Thanks once more.
Hi again. There is a new very nice grocery store that was just built inside Vistancia. There are lots of stores to choose from in the area. Our current closest medical facilities are Del Webb Hospital and Arrowhead Hospital; however, a new medical facility will be built soon on the outskirts of Vistancia.

Here are some website links that show the rapid commercial growth in and around Vistancia. In addition, more retail and office complexes are in the future plan both inside and outside of Vistancia too.
Presently occurring development close to Vistancia:
Developers fill Peoria's hot corner (broken link)
Presently occurring development within Vistancia:
Phoenix Commercial Advisors: Available Property

I used to work at Amex and lived in Surprise. Housing is still reasonable... the commute is abt 45 minutes due to the traffic congestion on the 101. There are new housing projects near loop 303 and around 99th ave north of Union Hills. There is an apartment complex on north side of Arrowhead mall which is near loop 101 and Bell Road that was ok. That Amex building is a good place to work.

Desert Ridge wouldn't be too far from you and they have the new Del Webb community Fireside I think it's called. I think Arrowhead Ranch is nice too.

Which way is worse at rush hour in the morning on the 101? West to East or vice versa? That would be something to consider too.

Traffic is worse going west to east in the morning and east to west in the afternoon due to the fact that many people work near the Scottsdale Airpark area.

It takes me 22 to 25 minutes to travel from central Surprise to the AMC Deer Valley 30 multiplex during low-congestion weekend periods. That is right across from the corporate campus. Aiming for a 6am arrival would add a few minutes, but it is hard to say how many. Call it 35 minutes early weekdays, 40 if you live on the western end of Surprise.

Hello there, since Vistancia and N. Peoria are some of the places I'm considering relocating to, what are the closest community colleges/univ. over that area?
