Call me crazy but the summers are my favorite time of the year. My pool is warm, the lakes are warm and inviting and if I plan it right, the motorcycle rides to the rim areas are fabulous.
During the heat, you'll find me in the pool, at the lakes jet skiing, water skiing or bass fishing and maybe taking a ride up to Payson or maybe Sedona.
I love the summers but I don't work out in the heat so I'm biased.
Still.......the sun and warm temps are why I moved here from the Oregon coast. The warm sunshine suits my lifestyle.
The snarling accents of our Winter visitors starts to go away, less traffic, I don't mind being hot.

I don't mind Summer, in some ways I love it because of water sports.

It's not like a blizzard is coming that will paralyze the city for a week. Plenty of awesome stuff going on all summer long. I'll be enjoying every minute of the snowbird free living.
