Is it a good idea to walk from the Greyhound to Sky Harbor? I'll be showing up very early on a Sunday morning, so is there a bus or shuttle from the station to Sky Harbor?

The bus terminal is just west of the airport. The distance would be anywhere from half a mile to two miles depending on which airline terminal you are trying to reach. I wouldn't recommend walking because the route is not all that pedestrian-friendly and might be a challenge to navigate with luggage. The airport rental car shuttle buses pass right by the bus terminal but unfortunately don't stop there. Your best best is to take either of the following two Valley Metro bus routes: 13 or the Red Line. Both run east-west along Buckeye Road and stop near the bus terminal and in front of the airline terminals. More info at http://www.valleymetro.org

I definitely would not walk. Maybe call a taxi.

A few months ago, I hopped on the Red Line from downtown Phoenix to the airport mid-morning after a meeting. It went smoothly and it goes right by the Greyound station. You want the Eastbound bus. Fare is $1.25. Knowing your airport terminal number in advance would be helpful.

Google 'phoenix sky harbor'. The website has a map of the terminals and the airlines in them.
