There has to be a solution for the cold side.
What my family's usually done is just let the water run for a minute or two.....but then I don't know how deep our water pipes are buried, so that probably makes a difference.

I just noticed this week that the waters gone from hot to warm (on the cold side) so falls coming.

Just what the board needed another weather thread. Yes fall is upon us and once the dew point drops it will be perfect. We didn't need another to tell us that.

I would never live at the immediate coast, not warm enough in the summer. 10-15 miles inland is the sweet spot.
Yet impossible to find a parking spot.

For anyone new or considering Phoenix, you should know that September is the month where we stick a tentative toe out from the air conditioned cocoons we have been in since June and test the air for a hint of moderation. Along with that dozens of attractions suddenly appear. Here is a story about 119 of them in September alone. Apologies for the AZC link. They are truly annoying, but the info is good.

September has been great so far this year, last year it (or maybe it was 2 years ago) we got some unrelenting heat in Sept that pushed us back to the 110 range but if we actually have an average Sept the highs should be in the <100 in about 10 more days and so far most of those 10 days are actually lower than average. I'll take it...

I'm ready for summer's end. Some years it gets to me more than others though it doesn't really change my daily routine; I just enjoy it when the blistering feeling is gone from the sun and even though it's still very warm, you know we are on the far side of summer and Fall is on its way.

Lately I've blown raspberries at the TV screen when the weekly forecast came on, so methinks I'm ready for a change.
