Correct, this discussion is about the furthest thing from scientific based on the quality of posts and responses Ive seen. Now, personal experiences vs factual numbers should never be compared. If we can sit here and throw factual data showing PHX's dewpoints and humidity can rival anything out east, and you come back with "I dont care what the numbers say, I can tell you it feels more humid." Then we just roll our eyes and cease to debate any more.

That works for me.

Cheers.

Today was our last normal low in the 80's, and our last normal 100° high is Thursday; we're getting through it lol

Man this is my first summer here. Kinda getting tired of it lasting for this long. I am being told by other people that this is an unusually hot summer here. I really didn't know that it would be 100's in the mornings and it just lasts all day and into the night. I'm sticking with it though, liking it here other than that, but I know it's a common complaint. Just sucks when you think September will be a little better and I guess it is but still hot as ****. I came from D/FW so hot weather isn't unheard of but they sure as hell don't get this hot for this long, lol.

And very disappointed in the "Monsoon" that we had this year, to me this is normal as it's my first year, so this isn't looking good on the weather front. I have a friend coming into town in a couple of weeks and it's already supposed to be into the 100's again. Oh well, it's an experience for now.

The first summer is the hardest. Next summer won't feel as bad and you won't think anything of having a hot September. Mid October is when we get our first cool weather....and then it will be beautiful.

The monsoon is hit or miss. It is what it is. In areas west of PHX there was no rain at ALL so consider yourself lucky....

When you say it's 100 in the morning, are you rolling out of bed at noon or 6am? If you're wanting to spend summer days outdoors you either roll out of bed at the butt crack of dawn and get finished very early or you drive to cooler temps, which is relatively easy to do compared to DFW. Most of us locals are getting excited this time of year, my phone has a prediction of 69 degrees for the overnight low later this week, so mornings are nowhere near 100 now and that's a big step towards the end of summer.

Most people here call the end of summer 9/30.

I actually got some light rain this morning coming down the 51. It caused 3 separate wrecks within a mile, so needless to say the traffic this morning BLEW!!!!

I get up at 7:50 am and have seen plenty of times where it was 100 at 10am.

I am going by Wunderground which relies on personal weather stations.

There has to be a solution for the cold side.
I've never lacked for chilly tap water for a shower in the summer. You must be from Minnesota.
