Probably long overdue, as so many realize that these schools provide nothing but debt, that can't even be discharged in bankruptcy. However, in this case, the students will have an option to cancel the loans if they don't transfer the credits....as if credits from loan mills transfer. I wonder if the army of "counselors" at U of P has gotten the word. Could they be the next to fall?

Default Thank you for giving us the TOTAL news !

It's a shame some people conveniently forget to post the big picture.
They can't stop the wave though. ASU largest incoming freshman in its history.
Grand Canyon university growing like a weed, just celebrated opening a new soccer stadium.

Read the title...I know I don't address the bottom 5% of the class, but it is clear that I was writing about ITT as a whole, then added the addition, that they "had Tempe campus." It's common knowledge that ITT operated nationally. So how big was the "largest incoming freshman in ASU history"? Must be 5 or 600 pounds if she was anything like the drunks wearing ASU shirts that I see stumbling around the beaches of Thailand. Let's face it...most of the for profit colleges, that process student loans are a bad joke, and the joke is going to be on the taxpayers. "Soooo" many Millennials with negative net-worth and very poor career prospects accusing people of being "bitter" and only seeing "the glass half empty," really should ask themselves why they are worthless and less employable than Salvadoran immigrants.

ITT Tech was charging 40k for associates degrees. You can get the same ones (with transferable credits) for 6k at a Community College.

The more places like ITT Tech/Devry/Brookline close the better. These places prey on poor demographics and young people's naivety.

Aw poh little for-profit college investors!

Whatever will they do now that they can't charge 40k to young minorities with federal student loans? Or make commercials with people stating cage outcomes like "now I work in the Technology Industry, I love it!" As what? A janitor?
