Hi,

I have a male family member moving to Phoenix soon. I am trying to find him a place to stay for about a month or so until he gets established. Does anyone know of an all utility paid, furnished apartment in the Phoenix area? Since he is a male and will live alone, it doesn't matter if it is not in the greatest area! He said he can live anywhere for a few months! I met a travel nurse that lived in a place exactly like this but I can't remember the name of the place. I have tried to google it, but was unsuccessful! If you know of any of these places please let me know!

Thanks!

Sweetmebri23

I'd be cautious renting an apartment with utilies included. Most of those complexes are in older neighborhoods and they're not exactly the safest. They stopped building apartments with utilities included some 35-40 years ago, and since they're not too expensive, unfortunately some of the tenants that live in them are not exactly those you want to be your neighbors.

I'd spend a little extra and get an apartment in the north Phoenix area, along the I-17 corridor, north of Glendale Ave. I can't give you any names, but I'm sure you'll be able to find a number of them.

Look for anything in the 85006/85008 zip code. Older, cheap and usually all utilities paid. As a bonus....find an apartment on VanBuren in this zip code and your male family member will meet lot's of interesting ladies.

I don't know about any furnished apartments, but Forest Park apartments near 7th Ave and Indian School are highly regarded and have utilities paid. If you look on Apartment Ratings - Apartments for Rent with Ratings and Reviews from Actual Renters, you'll find nothing but rave reviews.

If safety is not really a big concern then he should also keep his options open for long term motels (rent month to month) and small trailer parks.

That wouldn't be the part of VanBuren that has the transvestite prostitutes, would it? That was very naughty of you, fdxboy! lol!
