So there's a really, really good chance that a home we pick up is going to be absolutely barren.. which is ok as landscaping can be a good time.

My question is this, how much would an average pool cost to put in? Typical 3br home most likely.

Or if we just landscape, how much would a patch of turf cost (Don't want real grass if it's just going to die..)

And I'd love to have a Grapefruit, and or Lemon tree's.

Any websites you can refer me too? I'd still like to hear from people who've done this first hand.

Thanks again!

edit: I see it's nearly 70% Hispanic.. usually area's are about 70% White is this a typo on City Data?? Not racist but that seems kind of odd.

We just signed a contract to have a home built and signed a contract to have a pool built. The pools went anywhere from $20k (for a bare bones pool) past $40k with a hot tub. Our pool is $35k and is salt, in ground cleaner, some flagstone decking. It's a 90' perimeter play pool.

We're also having the backyard landscaped and getting 3 palm trees, a shade tree, a lemon tree, 650 sq ft of grass, watering, lights, all the rock and smaller plants for $3500.

Hmm, Landscaping isn't too bad at all. I thought it'd be more.

Is it possible to get the name of your landscaping company? You can PM if you want.

Thanks!

Synthetic grass costs around $6-8 per sf installed, usually. It adds up.

Sure, I'll PM you tonight when I get home from work. I don't remember their name right now.
