Unfortunately, some of the heavier competition we're facing is from smaller metros like Austin, Denver, and Nashville. Phoenix should have been ahead of the game by now with our growth & our population, and the excuse that we're a "young city" isn't acceptable anymore.

Interstate 11 has been proposed for well over a decade, and nothing has moved on it yet. I wouldn't expect this to be completed in our lifetimes, especially with ADOT at the helm. They're good at making promises which they don't fulfill ... or they take a long time to get projects started.
