No map on the thread I posted and I skipped most of the thread due to bickering. Just feel based on the things listed in your post 40th st and Washington is the thing best of everything and is a huge lot that can be developed. Plus I'd like to see more development along Washington.

But please, tell us a little about your gig?

Eli Lily had the steel structure in for a new factory, but moved it to Italy for global security purposes, as the main factory is in Indiana. AOL? Government contracting is the name of the game, there, and none of it is low pay, like Amazon is known for. Airport jobs are just about the bottom rung, and they even discovered a security officer was a former Somali war criminal. Cincinnati makes much more sense.
Manassas is not in Loudon County.

As to housing prices, my recollection of Loudon County is that people who can't afford to live in Fairfax County live there.

Never said it was. Just said that since this is a Phoenix forum which people are obviously in favor of Amazon coming to town, we'll be up against tech hubs like the ones you pointed out. Makes Phoenix look meh.

Oh I'd love to see that, it would be so good for their economy. Heck maybe I'd move there for a job. I used to love going down to Tijuana, if you know what I mean

Off topic: What happened to that Tesla competitor who wants to put up car manufacturing in Casa Grande?

Based on Amazon criteria, Phoenix doesn't seem a practical choice.

Lucid Motors - Casa Grande

It is still in the mix -- officially they are still raising the money - but there is a possibility they are going to be acquired. Apparently two players - one who will keep the plant in CG, and the other who MAY move them to some excess plant capacity they have elsewhere. Should know more in October.

Looks like Phoenix Columbus or SLC - due to access to airports. Looks like it has to be Phoenix since the other two are tiny towns and not really "cities" at all.

Ok so that was on me. I included a site on the light rail on Washington but not as far east as 40th street.

I'm going to reattach it in case it does work, but if not I am going to verbally describe the sites:

1. North boundary: Van Buren Street
South boundary: Jefferson Street
East boundary: 19th Avenue
West boundary: I-17

2. North boundary: Van Buren Street
South boundary: Washington Street
East boundary: I-10
West boundary: 14th Street

3. North boundary: Lincoln Street
South boundary: I-17
East boundary: Central Avenue
West boundary: 7th Avenue

4. North boundary: Buckeye Road
South boundary: I-17
East boundary: 16th Street
West boundary: 7th Street
(Included this one because lots of open land in this block and it definitely has 100 acres)
