Ever since opening their delivery station in Chandler, I was told by Amazon that they plan on starting free Same-Day Delivery in Queen Creek, however, I wasn't told on when it should start. However, I did notice that the cutoff time for free One-Day Delivery was extended from around 4:30 PM to 6:45 PM ever since the Chandler delivery station opened.

However, one thing that I have noticed is that a large portion of the West Valley does not get free Same-Day delivery despite there being a delivery station in Tolleson. In fact, Tolleson itself doesn't get free Same-Day delivery, the parts of the West Valley that do get free Same-Day delivery are west Phoenix, most of Glendale, and parts of Peoria. Tolleson, Avondale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Surprise, the Sun Cities, El Mirage, and parts of Glendale and Peoria do not get free Same-Day delivery.

I was wondering, is Amazon determining the areas by income level? Parts of Mesa aren't higher income than Peoria, Surprise, or Goodyear.

Note that Amazon did recently close the Flex (drivers delivering in their personal vehicles) part of the Tolleson delivery station, leaving only the drivers in the white delivery vans, so I don't see free Same-Day delivery coming to those areas anytime soon.
