Now, now...

The 7-11s have gotten better, and are less dirty now because they bring in the goats every other week and clean up any messes.

Does this 7-eleven look dirty to you? It has an inviting atmosphere even for a convenience store.

Better than 'Terribles' in Nevada. I am totally creeped out by every Terribles I've ever been to and wonder why anyone would name their business that. I guess at least it's honest.

har. Used to hate them, but my local one is a stepped up version. I like it.

Have you been to or even seen the 7/11s here? They're dirty and usually housing homeless and tweakers. There's no way around it.

I haven't because they're almost non-existent in PHX, same with Conoco and Sinclair gas stations.

There's nearly 20 locations. Less than Circle K or QT but certainly not almost non-existent.

I have not been in a re-modeled Circle K. Maybe I'll stop to check one out. Since I've moved to Phoenix I've been amused that a QT is nice no matter where it is and Circle K is a dump no matter where it is. Actually, when I first read the thread title I thought this is what the OP was going to reference.

ElleTea is right here. While the cleaning activity in Circle K's is definitely hit and miss, the QT's I've stopped in all over town (sometimes I go in just to pay cash for gas) are always clean, and being cleaned. They seem to have at least one more staff person on duty there in peak hours than a Circle K, and that person is often seen mopping the floors or doing other cleaning activities. Yes, there is a consistent difference.

I don’t understand the desire to go inside a gas station. This topic has made me realize just how long it’s been since I’ve stepped foot inside one of these places.
