I was wondering, is anyone here in the Phoenix area still getting OnTrac deliveries from Amazon? The last time I got a package from them I think was in the summer of 2016. Now it seems my Amazon Prime packages are 70% Amazon Logistics, 25% US Postal Service, and 5% UPS.

I actually heard OnTrac was hiring, which is surprising considering it has been over a year since I got a package from OnTrac via Amazon. Amazon Logistics probably has taken a lot of their demand, although perhaps OnTrac might be used to the more outlying areas that are not served by Amazon Logistics, since unlike UPS and FedEx, OnTrac I don't think has a rural delivery surcharge.

False. Due to bottling restrictions you likely received Dr. Pepper but didn't realize it.

I did receive an actual Amazon delivery from OnTrac. I wasn't too happy with the delivery. Was supposed to be delivered on a Friday and didn't receive until Monday. This was the first time I haven't received an Amazon delivery on time, and the first delivery using OnTrac.

Frequently. Very rarely from Amazon logistics assuming that is the "unmarked cars" delivery service.

There are two types of Amazon Logistics delivery drivers - the regular Logistics drivers using the white vans with the Amazon logo, and the Flex drivers with the unmarked cars.

I'm not sure why Amazon isn't using them for our orders anymore, considering they don't charge a rural delivery surcharge unlike UPS and FedEx. Before Amazon Logistics started serving our area in May, we got the majority of our Amazon orders via USPS, which now makes up about 25% of our Amazon orders (Amazon Logistics being about 70% and UPS being about 5%).

I've never seen a van with Amazon markings. Most of my stuff comes USPS, some UPS and rarely FedEx or OnTrac. OnTrac used to be more. I never liked it because they don't deliver till around 8 pm usually. USPS is far and away the best IMO.

One theory:

I actually wonder if Amazon has actually de-prioritized OnTrac as a carrier in Queen Creek possibly due to drivers having difficulty locating newer developments. As far as I know OnTrac drivers use their own GPS units, which may not be up-to-date. At least with AMZL I think Amazon might have an official log of shipping addresses that they can find the location, plus AMZL drivers can call the customer if they have trouble locating the address or have access issues.
