No, I don't, as I don't live in that area. You are going to have to do some online searching and see what you find.

Default Section 8 housing & Good and Safe place to live within walking distance to places

Hi everyone! I'm on Section 8, I live in Tucson, AZ. I'm originally from New Mexico and I am planning to move to Glendale, AZ in Aug at 4949 W. Northern Avenue to the Glen Brae Apartments. I would like to know how safe is it in that area or those apartments? Is there any other Apartments that is in a better area and safer within walking distance to places like Walmart or Target? Does anyone know where I can look up the crime rate also and also if someone can then can someone list safer area then where im planning to move to that is near walmart and target within walking distance.

Thank You!

I'm not sure what more there is to say that what was given to you in the other identical thread. You're not going to be in the most posh, desirable area in town with Section 8 housing. It's a OK area. Google Maps will show you distance to stores, but it's in a fairly dense area so you should have what you need nearby. It's adequate housing and nothing more, nor should it be.

You already posted this a couple days ago, why another thread?

As I said in the previous thread, it is section 8 so it is plenty sufficient. If you're going to have the state subsidize your rent then you should not expect to live in the nice areas of town.

Here is the problem. Section 8 means you are on the dole and taking tax payer money to live for free while the rest of us work and pay your section 8........and now you want more free items in the form of answers where you can live on the tax payers money.

You might observe there is a reluctance to provide you more of anything.......for free. It's an observation.

49th and Northern is a rough area. If you go north a couple miles there is a Target on 43rd ave and Peoria, a nicer middle class area. Section 8 can be used by landlords pretty much anywhere, and there is a website that will show you what is available.
https://www.gosection8.com/

The Target and neighborhood I referred to is in area code 85302.
