Just looking into the future here for my daughter... if you're not into math, engineering & IT, what are well-paying jobs or job fields in Phoenix? I would guess RN and maybe IT auditor if you're into this. What other well-paying fields do you see here? - Thanks!

I'm in Human Resources and it is a great field and pays well. According to the article that was posted in here a couple weeks ago HR is a field that doesn't have enough skilled talent to fill the vacant positions in Phoenix.

Risk Management is a steady line of work that never goes away and needs people.

Quantitative risk management can be quite mathematical. This is my personal reading and learning topic for the slow Christmas season - quantitative information risk management. Will also take the cert from FAIR on it beginning next year. Fascinating topic, let's see how practical it is.

Sure as long as there's some money in it. She loves music but chances to make enough money on this are remote.

Good idea to keep in mind. I like working with our HR folks. Been working on the HR system.

Thinking out of the box, I believe there's a fair amount of money to be made in the HVAC industry around here... Not all it it involves crawling up in attics!
