Yes. Culver's is a cut above your typical burger joint. Enjoy!

Like a lot of burger joints, there is fierce competition to reduce prices. in 2017, I'm convinced a 1/4 pound burgers no longer has 4 ounces of meat. Fast food joints also exaggerate in their adds too https://www.buzzfeed.com/christianza...ByO#.ayYORNYLw

Back in the day around 2000(ish), Culver's made a masterpiece burger just like In and Out Burger use to make. But to my eyes and stomach, the chain burgers have gotten smaller and less flavorful. So, I would not be surprised if they cut back on the quality of the beef too.

That all said, assuming you get a decent location, a Butter Burger is a cut above "average" which no longer is saying much because the caliber of "average" has dropped over time. There was a day when I loved Culver's. Now they are not worth the calories or clogged arteries.

Re: deep dish Pizza in the PHX area. Get a Rosati deep dish. Don't you dare bother with their thin crust. They put the sauce on top of the cheese. Order it as a sausage, mushroom, onions, with extra sauce. Ask for the crust to be more done. If it is a pick-up item, arrive 5 minutes before it is done so there is little time in the cardboard. Then race home before the crust softens. As a back-up, have the oven on in order to flash the crust on a pizza stone. Get ready for your neck to snap back (and your arteries to clog). No corners were cut; you will be pushing $3x for a large deep dish. If anyone has had a pizza by award winning Davanni's, it's very close. This pie is worth the calories.

which rosatis do you go to?
when I used to go in Illinois, their pizza sucked, but they are all independently owned, so maybe the one you go to out here is better

I prefer the Rosati's out here to the ones in IL. I find it to be far less greasy.

Is there a specific one? The Rosati's I've been to in Tucson had flavorless pizza.

Franchised. I like the ones up on Dynamite and Tatum and Dynamite and Alma School. The one on Shea and Scottsdale (by Porkopolis) is hit or miss.

Their thin crust is average at best. I go to the one in Surprise off of Waddell. Unfortunately, that location is set-up for takeout only. I'm 3 minutes from their oven to my table. I cannot speak for any other ingredients. But I'll think your taste buds are defective if you don't like the Sausage, mushroom, and mushrooms DEEP dish with extra sauce. If you want to take it up a notch, go with extra cheese. Or even better, add Canadian bacon to this mix and it's to the next level. Their largest deep dish feeds 6 adults.
