Depending on what you are looking for, try ZipRecruiter.com and Indeed.com. I still get calls about my resume on Careerbuilder, too, though it's not as good as it once was.

My previous job was found on Craig's List, believe it or not!
Couldn't agree more on Linkedin. Way over-hyped and a huge time waster while I was looking for a job. I got much more action from indeed.com with a lot less work.

I like Indeed. The website is really easy to navigate and they do a good job of suggesting jobs based on your searches.

I also like Glassdoor (and Indeed..no Monster). Then, you also get a chance to read reviews of the company itself. My husband is a huge believer in LinkedIn as an engineering consultant for Phoenix companies. I am a nurse and get hounded all the time about jobs via LinkedIn. I avoid it most of the time.

My bet is there are a ton of slimy headhunter types recruiting nurses for bounties. Would probably do a lot better hand delivering your resume to hospital HR Departments if that is where you want to work.

There is something to be said for CL. Seems like often, there are actually chances to get hired without multiple time wasting interviews and months of waiting. And it is strange, when they finally call you, they act shocked that you already started somewhere else, and they are always suggesting you quit and take their job. If I needed to work, I sure as heck wouldn't have spare months to wait for a mediocre job.

You could be a cashier for Fry's grocery store and make $10.00 an hour,no insurance benefits.

The minimum wage in Arizona is $10.50/hour so they can't make $10 an hour.
