Hi Everyone,

You all are so much help on here. I have another post. I have been getting long distance move quotes. Estes sure move has been the best price so far. Basically they drop off the trailer and I hire movers to load the truck for me, then they come back and pick up the trailer. They are about 2K cheaper that than other quotes. I've been getting freight, and container drop off quotes because that has been the least expensive. Has anyone had any experience with Estes Sure move? Thanks

No experience with that company. I believe we ended up using Mayflower to move our big stuff, about five years ago.

One thing to ask about is insurance. If they are not packing the boxes and the truck, it's doubtful they will insure the contents against damage.

I used ABF which is similar to Estes where they drop off a 28' trailer, you load it and they'll pick up and deliver it. It was much cheaper than a POD type container and there's no weight restrictions. You pay for the first 5' then there's wall slots every foot after, you only pay for the space you use. Once you're packed they give you a slot type wall which you install and lock with your own lock and key. If you only use a partial trailer the rest is filled with freight and no one else has access to your stuff. The customer service was excellent and you can track your trailer so you'll know exactly where it is.
