And where do you get that "most private schools are superior to "A rated" public "ones"? Link?

I couldn't care less where you want your tax dollars going, you don't have a choice until you move to your rectangle box with green rocks in Sun City. I'm talking about private schools vs highly rated public schools, your dream scenario of privatized education will never happen.
HEY! There aren't that manyplaces with green rocks...

I will and I encouraged it not just for November bit August with the primaries to vote out incumbents. We need fresh eyes whether blue or red.

The legislature is the one dragging their damn feet. My district is now officially closed again tomorrow. I actually heard from my principal before getting it from district proper. I'm glad they realize that the legislature is the $#¡+show I feared it was.

Of course but it shows that there are more people potentially for it. I don't recall 60% smackdowns in those polls. It isn't scientific but it shows that up to 8 out of 10 people are in favor of teachers staying out until the ink is dry.

It looks like things will go at least another day because the legislature broke its part of the bargain. Ducey is being taken for a ride here. He is a weak and ineffective leader. I can assure you Jan Brewer would never have tolerated this kind of public humiliation.

Ducey is a *****. He is weak on governing and will not meet with educators on a plan for education. I am voting Ken Bennett in August. For as hard right as Brewer was and is, she was a far better leader than Ducey is.

Yep and apparently from what I saw on Facebook, the legislature is allegedly waiting this out to pass the voucher bill and to make the raise only 5%. I say we all call our local legislatures and tell them you do not vote Ducey's plan with the 9% raise, we don't vote for you in the primaries.

Be leery of rumors at this point in the game.

Who exactly is he supposed to meet with?

You said there is no union.

You have no CBA.

No binding arbitration.

Why should he legitimize people like the redfored guy and lose his own base?

He might keep the base but lose the general election especially if the 9 percent becomes a five in legislature like it is widely rumored to be. Ducey promised it, he isn't delivering, especially if it passes and he signs it into law. If he signs a 5% raise after being for 20 by 2020 with the 9% for this coming school year, his goose is cooked regardless of teacher views because he broke a promise.

There isn't a union but that don't mean he cannot meet with teachers. Three weeks ago he had Save Our Schools behind him for his 20 by 2020 plan. He should have talked to that advocacy group.
