That's not going to happen here lol. It just makes too much sense for AZ's conservative brain.

That's what local Government does!...Rob Peter to pay Paul. Especially so with the emergence of public sector Unions. See: Detroit, Indiana, New Jersey, etc.

This entire thing is political with its main objective being disrupt, disrupt, disrupt...it's directly out of the Alinsky handbook.

Essentially we're providing teachers a 20% raise to teach children socialism. It's a perfect idea, start them off young and get paid for it.

Always remember...if you want to pay the higher taxes, that can be arranged. You can overpay and feel good about yourself any time you wish.

I support them BUT I am afraid I wouldn't like teachers getting paid a lot to teach my 4 year old about gay, transgender and feminism and anti this and that speech. Schools and colleges are becoming training grounds for future communist, entitled millennial know-it-alls. We should change methods and curriculum first before we dish out more money for these teachers. Otherwise, people will keep sending their kids to charters

didnt it only miss becoming law by 3% last election?

I'll bet it passes the next time its on the ballot out here, especially if they "claim" its going towards education..
After all, wasnt the Lottery supposed to solve all the financial woes of education??

Lol I don't think my kids are being "taught" any of this in school, but then again my oldest is only 10. Weird concern you have there

Usually parents that have these unfounded, fear-rooted concerns home school anyway.

They (legislature) might as well pass it now and get the education tax benefits going. There are five different hemp initiatives vying for the ballot this fall. With three neighboring states all going the legalization way, our time is likely here. The nice thing about "sin taxes" is that they stay fairly constant through both rough and good economic times.

They'll never be satisfied until they have all of your disposable income in their hand to redistribute so that everyone is equally miserable.

Naturally except them...they are of a different class, the do the distributing.
