I stopped eating at Garcias 20 years ago when I found out what good Mexican food is, they are one notch above Taco Bell. PoPo's on the west side and Tee Pee on the east side are my current favorites.

Any recommendations for a nice steak house in Chandler? Preferably $$$ price range? If I am going out for steak I want prime steak. I am a bit of a steak snob because I am used to Peter Lugers or some of the other finer steak houses in my area.

For authentic Mexican food check out:

El Tacotote
and
La Frontera

The latter I'm surprised even had a website and just be advised that one is cash only.

I'm pretty sure that someone else mentioned this one somewhere upthread, but this is what you're looking for: Durants

Steak 44 is solid. Mastro’s and Dominick’s are other good options. You can find Fleming’s anywhere.
