I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but it seems like the humidity has increased significantly this summer compared to the past few years. Not saying the Valley is becoming Houston West or anything... but it does seem to be very apparent. Those 116 degree days this past week seemed to be more humid and miserable than even those 119 and 120 degree days a few years ago.

The monsoon storms have not been any more or less frequent than in the past, IMO. So... maybe it's a matter of perception?

This entire month as been garbage. Its either scorching hot and dry (only a few days of scorching heat), or very hot with moderate humidity, or mildly hot with outrageous humidity. October cant get here fast enough!

Patience, grasshopper.

The sooner this HEAT goes away, the sooner the snowbirds, transplants & tourists begin appearing on our roads, in our restaurants & stores & all of 'em in front of, or around you -- one way or another. Enjoy while you can...

These past few days with DPs in the mid to upper 60s!!! YUCK YUCK

The mornings are so muggy. At least it was cloudy. Maybe we will get more storms this weekend. The worse thing about monsoon season is this weather "sticking" around and not producing any rain for us here in the Valley

I just want the dry warmth back or RAIN

It doesn't seem like that even matters. Roads are packed at seemingly all hours and every place is still packed. This is supposed to be the dead season but these people are all new transplants. We did grow a lot over the last year or so.

Can't imagine this years busy season

You mean Costco will get busier?

I think the summer has been milder than years past up until about 2 weeks ago. Then Hades let loose!
I'm more concerned about the heat extending well into October.
