I have lived in the Chicago area all my life, but the winters have finally got me to think about Arizona.
Can someone help with these questions please?

Paying cash, what to expect to spend for a nice two bedroom condo(first floor) ina good neighborhood with shopping and transportation close by.

I am on a fixed income so monthly expenses must be within budget. I would hope to clear about $250000 on the sale of my home.

How to find a good realtor working long distance with me.

Would I be better off selling my furniture or moving it to AZ? Costs?

Any and all help appreciated!
Thank you so much!

You should have no trouble finding a nice condo/townhome well within your budget in any of the areas you have listed above. I would sell most of the furniture you have, as it costs a lot to transport it and it may not fit in your new environment. Only keep the stuff you absolutely need or cannot live without.

Consider Sun Lakes or Sunland Village two excellent high value low cost communities.

Since you only have one post you may not get Direct Messages. Feel free to message me directly. I am a Chicago transplant and I have experienced your situation and understand your concerns.
