To each their own. I'd rather leave the house to do something other than go shopping. I'm also patient enough to wait for an item to arrive as I usually buy things well in advance.

Camelback Collonades and Scottsdale Fashion Square come to mind.

To me, still better than shopping online for certain things and at least the parking is plentiful enough.

I don't get why this isn't brought up more often in the death of traditional malls. The design is just leaps and bounds more appealing than walking around in an air conditioned warehouse.

The bold part is the key for me. It's absolutely MISERABLE walking around these so called outdoor lifestyle centers. I'd much rather walk in an air conditioned space to shop. I guess I'm the minority on that.

What about when you need something more immediate? Do you still go on amazon.com and wait several days?
Many of us don't have time to be patient for things we need right away, that's why stores exist.
I agree shopping online is more convenient in terms of not having to leave home and the chances of things being out of stock are less than going to a store, but it shouldn't be 1 way or the other.
Stores should be stocking their shelves and trying to keep business more than they do.

You're certainly not alone. Summer or winter, I'm comfortable shopping at the Arrowhead mall. Apparently others agree...the place is always packed.
