A similar thread was started in the Arizona forum (see above). There are several factors at play here, and one has already been mentioned pertaining to where we obtain our fuel from: primarily California. Arizona also doesn't have any refineries. I realize the mere mention of refineries could be a hot button issue for some of you, but it's a fact that many states with their own refineries have lower prices ... Texas is a big example, but California is an exception to this rule.

Spot on!

ROFL. I seriously doubt that is going to happen.

We're under $2.00 in only a few places here still. I seriously doubt AZ will even hit close to $1.00/gallon.

I think ajonesaz nailed it. I forgot that we have both winter and summer blends here.
I honestly don't think you'll like San Antonio. I've been there in the summer, and it not only gets hot, but really humid too. Their average dewpoint is 69° in July and 70° in August. That's considered oppressive

I was thinking nation wide we could hit 50 cents in some states not sure about AZ. I think we could get to $1. 20 to 1.50$ for 87.
