I am single Indian guy just moved here to Scottsdale a couple of weeks ago. I am looking to meet some single or non-single Indian people and any others. I would like to make some friends from the local area so that I can get to know the area a little better.

FYI: I am avid golfer and I am available to play golf every weekend. If you are into golf too, that would be great!

LOL, I was going to ask the same question!

Too bad you aren't Native American type, and all you'd need would be to drive up to the rez (reservation).

I'll leave it to the Phoenix experts to answer your question. I'm thinking of moving TO Phoenix; that's why I'm here. Okay, and to have fun too.

Speaking of 'Indians'; I remember reading an obit about a Cherokee woman whose married name was 'Choudhry'------that is correct, a Native American married to an East Indian. RIP

Nevermind, I don't like this place nor making fun of this thread.

Dagmen, there is a restaurant over on about 52nd and McDowell called New Indian Palace Delhi Restaurant or some such. I buy my Indian spices there. Perhaps you might start with a lunch there? Seems like a great place to me. The people are always friendly and it might be a good start and point of reference. Welcome!

I've heard that there is a large desi community in Phoenix so you shouldn't have much of a problem. Good luck!
