I have a freezer in my garage without any problem. We buy a lot of meat products online or from Costco. When I bake I put all my cakes in it. We buy bread from Fry's and freeze it. So each time we want bread, it's fresh from the oven.

Having a freezer to buy frozen foods and meat on sale was wasted back in Colorado when there was a power failure when I was away for a few days, and everything thawed and spoiled.

Today, when there are 4 grocery stores within a mile or so of my house, and even home delivery of groceries, I question the need and wisdom. But, to each his own.
Interesting, thanks, but I guess I was wondering more whether the freezer would just have a nervous breakdown from the heat. And I"m bothered about what I imagine would be wasted electricity.

I have an old pepsi machine actually outside in the direct sun and it has the coldest beers in Arizona no matter how hot it gets.
