I'd go to Papyrus if it were still around. But it's not.

What interesting places are there for cards? I was looking for New Year's cards, rather than Christmas cards, at the moment. Not Hallmark.

Changing Hands bookstore has a good selection.

Made Art Boutique downtown has a smaller selection but interesting and artsy ones.

When I lived in Phoenix, would always pick up a card or other unique gift at First Draft Bookstore (owned by Changing Hands) over on Camelback & Third Avenue.

First Draft is the bar and coffee house inside Changing Hands bookstore. Details aside, I agree with the recommendation.

Thanks - I haven't been to Changing Hands in years, so that didn't even cross my mind. I'll call and ask if they have New Year cards.

I remembered Paper Source, and went up there. They have a lot of cards but surprisingly dull and unappealing.
