Yep. Monsoon is a thing of the past at least in the deserts. It will look like Yuma around here in 10 years. Nothing left but scraggly creosote.

god I cant wait to get like half an inch of rain every year but maybe then people will move away.

Hopefully it won't be a lame monsoon this year, aka a non-soon.

It may be beginning. I had some rain today, and at 11:30 AM it's 82F with 55%RH.

Lately it's been 100F at 10AM with 12%RH.

Here in the Lookout Mtn. area we've had rain since 8AM and it's been steady since around 9. An actual good soaking rain. And it just really started pouring as I was typing this.

The 16 day forecast looks pretty encouraging, especially over the mountains. Hopefully, it works out that way.

it sure is; the .11 inches I have had so far is the biggest rain I've had since mid february!
