Or you just support existing local restaurants that are struggling by dining in or doing take-out, whichever you're more comfortable with.

He just announced 5 of these in CT. Given his recent fund raising (over $20 mil) for restaurant workers, I assume these are more a way to try and keep kitchens open and people employed. No mention of leases/terms.

Sounds like that might be some of the best food to come out of a Buca di Beppo kitchen.

I can’t imagine how bad Buca di Beppo must be then.

We had one in COLO SPGS. I heard the 'attraction' was huge portions. Never went, gluttony isn't my thing. It closed in the Great Recession.

Think it was marketed as a family style place. So the huge portions were meant to be shared among groups. We had gift cards last year and used them for mothers day specials (takeout due to covid). Nothing special for sure.

I've been to several Italian home restaurants. In Italy, people open their home at night and it is a "restaurant". I've had some WOW meals! Buca di Beppo is WAY below average "Italian" food. They accurately earn 3 stars on Yelp https://www.yelp.com/biz/buca-di-beppo-mesa-4

Buca di Beppo is owned by Planet Hollywood. Need to say any more? It's grub.
