Were about 4 months out for our move to western Phoenix, has Starlink installs started in that area?

If anyone has it yet, are you happy with speed?

I would prefer it to traditional internet via wire or fibre.

Thanks

Ron W

I don't think so, last I heard Starlink was only available in the northern USA and Canada. Anyone have an update? The concept is intriguing and I'm quite interested in it as well but how do you know it will be better than alternatives?

I got an invite for it and there are some folks in Payson that have installed it. It is available on a limited basis.

Some people at the marina at Lake Pleasant have it. Put your address in at starlink.com.

It's about double cable Internet costs, but a great break for those reliant on Hughes. 89 usd pm... ~. I heard it is already in Virginia.

yeah, I got an invite a month or so ago; still in "beta" out here, but for those reliant on lousy Hughes service, it is an alternative, but, its not ready for prime time out here yet
