So according to the majority of people online, I should get rid of my vehicle, apartment and dog.

I should drive a beat up old Pinto, rent a room somewhere, and not a have a pet. Thank you for the sound advice.

I sincerely thought $43k was a decent salary in 2021, but it's not apparently and I have no financial smarts whatsoever. It's a wonder I'm still alive.

I know that wealth is worshipped around the world, but it's not all it's cracked up to be. Many of the wealthy see therapists that charge around $250/hr. So much for wealth. It goes in one end and out the other. It's amazing that I'm able to see some rich so called upscale women in the Phoenix Valley run wild on papa's money, alimony or on a pension (they never earned) doing all kinds of unGodly crazy stuff. I also heard a rumor of a wealthy woman back East whose parents gave her husband a financial incentive in their Will so he wouldn't leave their daughter after they died. I've also heard that it's customary for kids starting out in the world to have their apartments financially padded by wealthy parents so that they can live in the better parts of town.

Is that true or am I just reading too much fiction?

And yet the middle class keeps getting trashed by those who are wealthy.

Financial wisdom depends on who is giving it and who profits from it the most. Isn't that correct?

You might say "Well, they are rich so they are in a position to do whatever they want with their money." But at the end of the day is it wise?" It's definitely not tough love.

Depends on where and how you live.

I've been living in Phoenix since 2004. The 2021 real estate flavor seems the same as when I first moved here. Toss aside that 2009-2014 "correction."

Arizona may be a bargain for the rich but I'm pretty sure they will get bored and restless and want to hurry on back to the rich and glitzy coast once the dust settles because that is after all where all the top movers and shakers live. All that glitters isn't gold no matter how much you want to jack up those prices.
Sssshhhh! Don't say that to anyone in Scottsdale!
