I'd been reading about how with Cyber Ninjas fooling around with the voting machines, Maricopa county would have to replace them, to the tune of almost $3 million, which means that taxpayers would be footing the bill.

But now I suddenly thought, Wait, if a workman breaks something, he's supposed to pay for it. If your plumber knocks over an antique vase, you'd expect him (or his insurance) to reimburse you. So why do we have to pay for Cyber Ninja damage?

They don't know for sure that they are "broken" but no one should trust them any more. The county has to get ready for the next election, so there isn't time for litigation over paying for new machines.

Another joke, regarding the biggest joke, in political nonsense history.

Their priority is to get replacement equipment for upcoming elections. I’m sure the taxpayers will be represented by a lawsuit once this circus concludes.

It's a local issue. It's about Maricopa county and our taxes.

I consider tampering with votes a serious issue. If you'd rather have more threads about the weather or sports teams, feel free to start threads on that.

Yes, thank you. Our county, our taxes, our scandal.

Not the point. You are starting multiple threads on the same issue. That is called spamming.
