Compared with owning rental property in SF the PHX metro is heaven. The day comes I don't call the shots is the day I look to sell.

Nonetheless, a person certainly can jump up a few financial rungs in this country. They can if they are willing to put in the extra effort. Willing to take risks and find their own niche. Immigrants do it all the time.

This "poor me" routine (not saying this is you.) has gotten old. Nobody forced anyone to take out thousand of dollars in student loans, buy a 30k car or whatever. And anyone waiting for the government to save them... well good luck with that.
So macroeconomics is meaningless to you, and you think everyone in the labor market exists independently of each other in a vacuum.....

Here we go again with the same victim mentality repeated by the same members from similar threads. Get ready for 25 pages of non-productive arguments before a mod locks the thread.

Easy for someone who already owns property, and therefore is unaffected by the rising prices to say. What ever happened to empathy?

But you CAN own property too. You are choosing not to. We had another lengthy thread with multiple people explaining to you that your preconceived notions about what it takes to get a mortgage, etc. were incorrect. Empathy is reserved for those that can't help themselves.
