Thank you.

If you're very happy here and love Phoenix as you say, then let go of what happened in the past. A-holes come in all shapes, sizes and races. Just realize that and move on with your life.
No my point was not to emphasize that. For the record, nothing I described happened living here in Phoenix. My point was to call into question the posters who thought it was ridiculous for a family to ask about what it might be like to live here, to suggest the OP was racist herself for criticizing living in another area of the country based on her own lived experience etc... When you've experienced racism it's natural to want to establish if a place will be a safe place to raise your family and it's perfectly acceptable to rule out areas where you wouldn't feel comfortable. When you have children it changes how willing you are to put up with crap and subject your kids to it.

That was exactly how I interpreted your comments, ringler. And it's just how I felt about it when I posed my original questions. Thanks for getting it!

Any time! FTR, I do think you will like it here, but you are right to do your research and choose somewhere that feels the most comfortable.

Rich people live in ( Fountain Hill s) Aero Canyon, Sunridge Canyon, Shadow Canyon, lots of new million-dollar homes, too far away for the poor people to find it.
