It's all or nothing in many people's book. That gives them cover to think the way they do without understanding what's behind the numbers. Critical thinking skills (conceptualizing, and evaluating non-black and white details) are a lost art in this country. When you possess those skills and have the drive, anecdotally, I see a strong correlation with $ucess. But as a country, we are screwed https://thehill.com/changing-america...king-is-needed

If New Zealand would take us, I'd up and move before the crap hits the fan. Rant off.

How's Israel doing with their next to 100% vaccination rate? Also, remember to get your booster!

For starts, your "nearly 100% vaccination rate" is off. When you start with a false premise, it's easy to convince yourself you have it figured out.

As of September 27th, 62% are fully vaccinated (67% have at least one shot). See https://www.statista.com/statistics/...nty-worldwide/ Your answer. of the 38% of the people who are not fully vaccinated, they fill up 70% of the hospital beds. https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/...sis-1.10251639

Thank you! The only question is, do these anti-vaxxers know they’re using false information to support their bias or are they truly misinformed? I think many have realized they can’t support their position with facts so it’s just lie, lie, lie. Wonder where they got that from.

Actually I would take Norway's 90% vaccination rate since they never turned it political.

There are semantics involved ^^. Here is a state-by-state details from the Mayo https://www.mayoclinic.org/coronavir...accine-tracker

In reality, the metric is only what is the total population percentage. As you see from the Mayo graph, in the USA, we are far shy of getting the totals in the green area. We need "more sheep to take a knee and bow". We could be like this tough guy visiting the Russian COVID ward.

As of September 2021...90%...they administered an additional 385000 doses this month.

The hike in new cases comes as the national vaccination program is rolled out to most of the country’s adults. As of 26th of August, as much as 88,4 percent of Norwegians over 18 years had got at least one jab. And 62,4 percent had got both jabs.

Norway now foresees that more than 90 percent of its population has gotten both jabs in the course of September.
