IF FOR SOME REASON they don't and you get a default judgment (odds are VERY low) - you can fill out the form I posted earlier and use that to have it set aside and you can get a hearing - and bring up the fact that you were not served in 90 days to get it dismissed.

Either which way, you win.

If the OP just lets it go then he could end up driving on a suspended license and have a warrant issued. It's better just to pay it and not speed through that section of the 101 in the future.

If the OP gets a default judgment against him, he can file a form to have it set aside and then bring up the lack of service defense.

I doubt he will have to do this, as the judges dismiss "lack of service" tickets automatically.
