Im sorry but I do not support the laveen spectrum of shops and other cityfied relations. Some people dont like to live in the city and prefer the rual lifestyle of having to drive into town to shop and Frys is already there and mcdonalds and a sonic and a autozone, checker, home depot, pool store and other shops at 51st ave and Baseline. We have more than we need here and dont need anything else. Not to mention I dont like the way adot and the city have decided on what route they are going to use for the 202 freeway. Why should the city be able to put a freeway where someones house is why not take the freeway to 99th ave where there are less thing in the way. I didnt move to the rual area to have it turned into a city, I like the dark at night and the quietness of rual life, and the cows and the horses dont bother me at all. What bothers me is that once you think you have gotten away from the croud the croud comes to you. Im a arizona native and my family has been here since the 1870's. Really I would like to leave it the way it is. Take your city somewhere else.

I would like to respectfully disagree with you as a resident of 85339. I moved here in anticipation of the planned developments. However, I agree that we need to strike a balance with the existing rural characteristics of Laveen to preserve the community feel here. We just need to leverage our strength to ensure quality development.

it's funny to see that someone who likes the rural lifestyle is using an Internet message board!
