I was driving by tonight (live right there), and in the parking lot with sprouts there was a bunch of yellow tape, a news crew, a ton of cop cars, and a few forensics vans. Hm, just wondering what may have happened since I happen to live less than a block away, and this seems to be a relatively good neighbourhood (I just moved here).

I guess it was a murder... seems rather uncommon for the area.

It wasn't a murder since the victim was taken to the hospital with "non life-threatening injuries." The person who shot him was or is a pro-boxer from L.A. attempting to rob the victim. Guess he wasn't too good of a boxer.
