Who has been?

I'm curious about the Science Center, but I want some reviews before I make the drive and spend the money. I hear it's a Point of Pride, but is it really that spectacular?????????

It's definitely worth visiting if you've never been before - Though, it's geared toward the younger crowd.

Nothing "spectacular" in my book. Lot's of interactive displays that are good if you have kids. I have done it once which was enough for me....

It's a pretty fun place...it is geared toward younger people but if you like science stuff and learning interesting things, it has a lot of interactive things you can do.

Its a fun place if you are under 10 years old, if not, you won't enjoy it. I used to go there a lot when I was a kid for field trips, and I recently went there to see the "human body" exhibit a few months back and I felt it was a huge waste of money, there is nothing the least bit interesting at the museum.

That's too bad.

I thought it might be a fun but educational place to take kids or adults.

Maybe I'll go anyway and check back here with a review.

Go check it out...it's different for everyone. I went with three other adults (30-33 yr old range) and we all had fun.

I think it's a place that all ages can enjoy. Keep in mind, though, that the basic museum admission only covers the permanent exhibits. A lot of what occurs at the museum is more along the lines of traveling exhibitions that require supplemental tickets for an additional charge. Some of them, like recent exhibits about the Titanic and the Chronicles of Narnia, are not very scientific, but they draw crowds. Enjoy the museum, but know that the cost of visiting can get steep with all the add-ons.

Also, if young children are involved, the Children's Museum of Phoenix, located just across 7th St, is a great choice for fun and interactive play.
