According to this; You'd be safest just not coming here at all, I guess.

Geez.
Avoid Maryvale if you can, but the entire west side?
That's a little ridiculous.

Entire west side...geeze is right, 1/2 of the population in the Valley would be eradicated.

I think you need to get in your car and drive the 101 loop someday through Peoria, Glendale, and N. Phoenix.
I can safely say that if you forget your "body armor" at home, you will make it safely back to Tempe.

not really everything seems to happen after 35th ave maybe not in North Phoenix but in the slums of Maryvale that is the case. You never here of all the drop houses on the east side. They are in the newly abandoned communities on the westside. Don't live in a bubble and think that its all fine and dandy on the westside believe me its not. Tempe does have its problems, but its far worse over there.

You're speaking mostly of Maryvale though; Save for the drop houses.
And those pop up ANYWHERE.

Take a drive. Go visit Palm Valley in Goodyear, Arrowhead in Glendale; ALL of North Peoria, and most of Surprise.

Stop living in your bubble.
