Can anyone tell me the BEST cities to live in that is affordable? My husband and I are moving to the area next March and would like to rent a 2 bedroom apartment. Has anyone ever lived in Tempe Grove Apartments? If so, any feedback on them? Anyone with any Pro's & Con's about the phoenix area? Thanks Guys!!

I haven't lived in Tempe Grove, but hopefully putting this back on the first page will get some responders who do. Of course there are pros and cons about the Phoenix area, just like everywhere else.

Do you know where you or your husband will be working or going to school or whatever? That should weigh hugely on your decision where to locate-if you don't want to end up with a monster commute. What price range are you looking to pay for rent? What else do you like to do (ie if you like to golf, being near golf courses would obviously be a plus etc)?

I would avoid those apts. There is a seedy eliment that like there and you here about rapes there a couple times a year. Its between the town of Guadalupe and a Super Walmart. I would not recommend this place.
