I'm looking for suggestions for a nice park in the Phoenix or Scottsdale area where I can have a small wedding. To be able to see the sunset would be a plus. We have been highly recommended not to try to do it at Dobbins Point on South Mountain because it is extremely busy that time of year. My wedding is in December. Thanks!

the japanese gardens are pretty nice and would work out fairly well for a wedding - however the rental isn't all that cheap @ $1,500

Lots of weddings at Encanto Park, also not cheap, but the Desert Botanical Garden is a terrific site for this kind of thing

good call with the DBG - their webpage shows rentals of some of the outdoor areas from $600 - $800

Facility Rental – Desert Botanical Garden – Weddings – Meetings - Events (http://www.dbg.org/index.php/rental/weddings - broken link)

in december it will probably have to be early enough to allow for setup of the luminaries event
