Anyone know of any new outpatient medical clinics opening in the next 6 months? Iam an RN seeking employment in the behavioral health field with a house to sell in Wisconsin. A hire date a few months from now would buy me some marketing time. Any suggestions appreciated

Contact Maricopa County. One of the larger providers is Southwest Behaviorial Health Services. They have 40 different clinics, transitional housing, VA, Childrens, and other sites that you may be interested in. I think that they opened a new clinic in Buckeye recently. You can check them out at www.sbhservices.org

I'm an ER nurse and I know there is a great need for your specialty in the valley. I don't know about "new" outpatient clinics opening up, but there are always openings in the already established ones. From what I've seen, the pay is good also.

I wish I had the patience to do psych nursing all the time, but the amount of psych that I have to deal with every day is plenty for me.

I hope you sell your house and move down here soon. We sure can use you!

I too am looking for work in the behavioral health field and I also am in the Midwest (MN).

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and prefer outpatient work. Seems like most therapists in AZ either have their own private practice or are part of a very large organization. I've seen a few group private practices but I'm looking for good salary and benefits and being close to the Cave Creek area.

Doesn't seem to be any mental health services/branch offices in the NE area where I'd like to settle.
