Hi Az folks,

I come over to AZ for work quite alot, sometimes arriving too early to start work.
Can you tell me where there might be swap meets or flea markets that sell the old stuff? I am not interested in new items, I like digging for treasures in the piles of old cr*p! LOL

I collect old photos, junk jewelery for crafts, etc.

The whole state is my territory, so any swaps that you know of would be appreciated! Thanks!

Since you said the whole state... there is a swap meet in Sierra Vista (SE AZ) on Saturdays and Sundays. There seems to be a lot of junk to wade through, and not too much of the crafts and such. I must say I have only stopped at it once, though.

i think the one glendale drive in has more used items than the one off 4oth st and washington would.
there are some antique shops around as well, i recall one off i-17 but i would google things like that to find them.

Seems like most of the swap meets in the Phoenix area are filled with the new garbage anymore. Greyhound (40th & washington) use to be the best for used stuff but the last time I was there a couple of years ago it was all that new, may in China garbage mass-marketed junk. Garage sales are the best way to go here, esp Sun City during the winter for old stuff.

Garage sales, Estate sales, and Craigs list are your best bets. The swapmeets here are full of new but cheaply made items...
